Third-party components in FamilyTree
FamilyTree itself is closed source. The application does bundle the work of others. This file lists what ships with it and under which terms; the same text appears in the About FamilyTree window and at FamilyTree.clardware.be/credits.html. Dutch original: THIRD-PARTY.md.

Note. InsightFace's code is MIT, but its pretrained models are explicitly for non-commercial research only. As long as arcface_mbf.onnx ships with it, FamilyTree may not be sold or used commercially. For a commercial licence: <recognition-oss-pack@insightface.ai>.

Software libraries
Rust and npm dependencies are under MIT or Apache-2.0, or both. The full list with versions comes from Cargo.lock and package-lock.json; the main ones are Tauri, Svelte/SvelteKit, Vite, Typst, ort (ONNX Runtime), image, encoding_rs and Leaflet. Microsoft's ONNX Runtime and DirectML.dll ship as binary components (MIT).
Demo file (demo/)
The photographs in demo/images/ are public domain; origin and author per file are in demo/CREDITS.md. The people in demo/DEMO.GED are fictional.
